January 3, 2005 Business and Show and Tell

Our newly elected officers presided over the first meeting of the New Year.  Karin Tauber, who escaped the camera, and Vickie Barden, pictured at left, introduced the "Bring a Block" concept and revealed the "Treasure Box" where winners may claim a prize. Karin and Vickie are our co-vice presidents and program chairpersons.

Linda Fiedler shows a quilt she made for Zahava, an adorable 2 year old, who is also known as "Z".   

Ann Reardon, above and at right, hiding behind the fabric, showed some of the techniques she picked up from her classes in Houston in November.

Nancy Moore brought the gorgeous ornaments that she received at last month's gift exchange to show those of us who had not seen them. The ornaments were made by Lucy Ricardo.
