Flowers 2005 Each year the Guild holds a Quilt challenge in which participants work on quilts with a common theme, interpreted in unique ways. In 2005 the Guild decided to participate in a challenge offered by Quilt University. Their Invent a Flower challenge was open to guilds across the nation and the world. The Flower themed quilt could look botanical, whimsical or be out of this world. It may have added dimension and be embellished as desired. The main consideration for judging the quilts was creativity and originality and how the quilt reflected the theme. Our winning challenge quilt will go on to become our
guild's entry in the Quilt University Challenge Virtual Show to be held in January 2006 at
