|Meet the Quilter:
February 2007 Glenna Jones
Glenna has been sewing since she was a child when she used a treadle machine for her sewing. She earned a degree in Home Economics from Radford College and learned to sew and tailor garments, including this suit, left.
Below, some quilts that she made for her daughter in law.
|Left: A traditional quilt which was one of the first ones that Glenna machine quilted.|
|A book inspired Glenna to make this strip pieced quilt with curves. It is one of her favorites.|
Above, a "Snippets" quilt.
At right, a quilt inspired by her trip to Alaska.
One of Glenna's early projects that inspired her to continue quilting, above.
At right, a quilt with programmed machine embroidery.
