January 7, 2013	Business and Show and Tell Book Reviews, Issue 1st UFO challenge (members bring 2 fat quarters and list of 4 ufos) supply list for English Paper piecing handed out. Decide on Challenge: Tulip Mania
January 21, 2013	English Paper piecing with Elaine Boyd Program on English Paper Piecing, some demo, some hands on. Supply list for Bobbie’s project will be handed out.
February 4, 2013	Business and Show and Tell Bobbie Trail to present short program on cute pincushion – hands on Supplies for pin cushion: large empty spool, fabric large enough to go around spool at least twice and an inch taller than height of spool, hand sewing needle, thread to match and a little stuffing. (If you have extra spools you might be kind enough to share.)
February 20, 2013	Karin Tauber presents Creative Playtime with Visual Texture. Visual Texture is important in the creative process of each textile artist. This fast paced and fun play time approaches a variety of patterns and designs. Short work sessions will help participants to overcome their “fear of placement” and perfection. Let’s walk together with others on the path to creativity and give ourselves permission to “Play”! Supply list: Choose 5 -10 fabrics (or the more, the merrier) with different colors, pattern or texture, for example: large prints, small prints, abstract, flowers, lines, bold prints and subtle prints… Make 1 BLACK & WHITE copy of each of your fabrics (8” x 10” = page size) on a copy machine. Check if your copies “read” light, or medium or dark. A variety in values is helpful. You do not need to bring the fabrics, just the copies. Make a few extra copies if you want to swap with others. 5 or more pages of white paper, glue stick, paper scissor s(not too big or too small, one you feel comfortable to cut with)
March 4, 2013	Business and Show and Tell Members will share “Favorite Websites” and more book reports will be presented. Information on Charity Quilt Workshop will be given by Geri Mattern, 1st UFO project due, 2nd issued
March 18, 2013	Silent Auction. Calling all members! Get into those sewing rooms and clean out your treasures that are no longer of use to you but may be coveted by fellow guild members. We will have our semi annual fund raiser at this meeting. We will also have a table of home made goodies for you to bid on. These items can have a minimum bid and if it is not met, you keep your item or donate it to the boutique. Items for this table might include homemade jams or baked goods, items like table runners, place mats, potholders, etc. or perhaps you would like to auction off a service such as binding a quilt or making a quilt label. Of course, remember to bring your mad money as well so you can take home some treasures yourself. Always a fun meeting with lots of time to socialize and get acquainted. Please bring guests!
April 1, 2013	Business and Show and Tell Linda Fiedler will present a short program on blocking your quilt.
April 15, 2013	Love Quilt Workshop, All Day Geri Mattern will lead a workshop, or you may work on your own project.
May 6, 2013	Business and Show and Tell Susan Brittingham will present a short program/demonstration on Celtic Applique. May 20, 2013	“Renew it or lose it” Stations will be manned by our knowledgeable members to demonstrate various quilting skills and techniques. Small groups will rotate among them.
June 3, 2013	Business and Show and Tell Picnic. 2nd UFO due and 3rd issued. Supply list for curved piecing workshop will be distributed.
June 17 2013	Curved Piecing with Gwen Goepel Gwen will lead us through a hands on workshop to learn this wonderful technique. Members may wish to plan on bringing lunch and staying later into the afternoon.
July 1, 2013	Business, Show and Tell A short program will be presented on our early guild history. This should be of interest to our newer members as well as a fun walk down memory lane for our more seasoned members.
July 15, 2013	Pat Lingle on Working with Wool Pat Lingle is presenting our program this morning. It will focus on working with wool in quilts and in other applications. She will be offering a 3 hour workshop in the afternoon on learning techniques to embroider and construct a table mat from wool.
